Virtual tour viewing technologies

There are various formats for virtual tours and all have their advantages and disadvantages. The best quality formats usually require some sort of viewer software to run them. Of these, the two most common formats use Java applets or Apple's QuickTime player.

In our experience the QuickTime format is superior, with better quality results. As with the Java format, the viewing software is not always installed as standard on all computers, but it can be downloaded free of charge via this link if required:
